Will Uploads Stop if Screen Goes to Sleep

I often take to upload very big files overnight via WeTransfer or FTPs but Windows keeps going to sleep and stopping / pausing the uploads. Is there a manner I can tell Windows to stay awake when I'1000 uploading?

When I used Macs I was able to cheque something in the settings like, "Wake for network activity" and my Mac e'er finished it's transfers. How practise I practice that on Windows?

I've gotten around this in the by by going to Settings > Power & Sleep > and turning Sleep to Never. Merely I'd rather not take to switch this on EVERY time I upload something. I want my reckoner to sleep after some time unless I'm uploading.

The Slumber setting does say on Never unless I change information technology back but, every bit I mentioned before, I want my computer to sleep subsequently some fourth dimension unless I'grand uploading. I don't want my computer constantly running and using power if I'm not using it.

You shouldn't have to keep irresolute it, it should remain at that setting after doing information technology the first time.

Thank you! Near of the settings were already set up according to the links you posted except i. I changed that 1 setting and then hopefully it'due south fixed. I'll update this once I exam it.
